Spokane Black Voices Symposium 2026

Art as Activism.  Our youth uses poetry, visual art, and storytelling to speak truth, explore identity, and deepen their understanding of the world—and their place within it.

Join this experience February 3 at 7:00 p.m. at the Montvale Event Center to experience their creativity, courage, and vision firsthand. This event is free! Tickets

This showcase is the result of a partnership between The Black Lens, Northwest Passages, and The Links, Spokane Chapter, centered on Seasons & Cycles: Finding Your Destiny.

Michael Bethely, will serve as the moderator, and the STEP team featuring youth from North Central High School and Rogers High School will perform, alongside other dynamic voices who will help bring the evening to life. Come witness what happens when young voices are nurtured and heard.
