Our state's racial climate is more livable now than it was 30 years ago. Yet, racism still exists and it touches Black people's lives daily.
Somewhere in our state, every day of the year, Black people encounter racism and discrimination. While these incidents may be less overt and less numerous than in the past -- they are still real and ongoing.

We must keep fighting
As long as we continue to experience discrimination, we must continue to confront it and demand equitable treatment. There are many public and private organizations that offer resources to fight discrimination
