2021-2022 WSMA Grant Opportunities

A new round of grant funding is open!

The 2021-2022 WSMA Grant Opportunity strengthens Microenterprise Development Organizations (MDOs), Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) serving organizations, and others that provide business training, technical assistance, training, and/or microloans to businesses with 5 or fewer employees in urban and rural parts of Washington State.

There are two grant opportunities this round: One RFP for projects throughout Washington and a smaller grant program for projects and organizations located in urban areas. The application period is short with a deadline to apply of Friday, January 14, 2022 at 5:00pm, so applicants are encouraged to review the Grant Application Guidelines and Materials and start your application as soon as possible. These grants are for nonprofit organizations and others that provide business services to help the smallest businesses navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, steady their enterprises, prepare for economic recovery, and ensure they are ready to grow as the economy gets moving again.
