Charlotte began her career in the private sector. Earning her BA from the Evergreen State College, she decided to follow her father’s footsteps into public service. Having worked for three Washington State Senators and two other state agencies, she brings to the Commission a firm understanding of the legislative process and state government. A volunteer in her own community, her past civic duties include Pierce County Democrats Precinct Officer – 29th LD, Pierce County Library member, and Safe Streets Coordinator.
