Section Two – Executive Committee | By-Laws and Standing Procedure
The Executive Committee shall be comprised of the Chairperson, Vice-chair, and two Commission members. The Executive Committee shall be cognizant that maximum power shall be vested in the full Commission.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Executive Committee monitors the status of assigned projects.
- Interim actions and recommendations taken by the Committee shall be reported to the full Commission at its next meeting.
- The Executive Committee shall act only with the policy limitations established by the Commission as per RCW 43.113.030.
- The Executive Committee serves as consultant to other Commissioners.
- The Executive Committee assists in the Executive Director’s coordination of orientation and training for new Commissioners, and serves as a mentor to newly appointed Commissioners.
- The Executive Committee, along with the Chair, will review and provide input on the annual performance agreement drafted by the Executive Director prior to its submittal to the Governor’s Office.
